To celebrate St. David’s day, the children came to school wearing a traditional Welsh costume or red. We had a very tasty dinner of lamb, thanks to the kitchen staff. Year 3 & 4 children had a cup of tea and welsh cakes.

The following day it was World book day / Children came dressed as their favourite character from a book. We had an art competition – winners were Eva Keenan, Cora Roberts, Charlotte Hansford and Finn Bickell. They were awarded with a book token for £5 to spend at ‘A likely story’ at Tywyn.

Elen Evans 5/60 came to school. Year 6 children took part in Gwynedd fitness scheme.
Urdd Eisteddfod was a great success / May running from one pre-lim to the next.
Mari Jones will be competing in the National Urdd eisteddfod in Bridgend at the end of May, along with many art and craft competitors. We wish them all the best.
